Is this shampoo suitable for my dog? Do not use this shampoo on puppies under 12 weeks of age, or on nursing females. Remove fleas from young puppies and nursing females by careful use of a flea comb. Do not use this shampoo if you are using other insecticides on your dog (shampoo, spray, powder, etc.). If signs of disease persist or appear following treatment, consult your Veterinary Surgeon. Do not use on sick and convalescing animals. Do not re-apply within 7 days of use.
What precautions should I take myself? This product contains formaldehyde. Avoid contact with skin. Wear protective gloves when applying the product to your dog, and wash any exposed skin after use. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental eye contact, rinse with clean, fresh water. If eye irritation persists, seek medical advice. Treated animals should not be allowed to sleep or play with people, particularly children, until the animal is dry. Keep away from food and drink including animal feeding stuffs.

Preparation and Usage
How do I apply this shampoo? The shampoo should be diluted before use. The volume needed depends on the size of the dog: Small dog (1.5-5.0 kg): Add 30 ml shampoo to 300 ml warm water. Medium dog (1.5-5.0 kg): Add 50 ml shampoo to 300 ml warm water. Large dog (15.1-30.0 kg): Add 70 ml shampoo to 300 ml warm water. Wet the dog’s coat thoroughly with warm water. The diluted shampoo should be gradually worked into the coat, avoiding eyes, nostrils and mouth, to give a good lather. Leave in the coat for 2 minutes and rinse thoroughly with clean water. The product is harmful to fish and crustacea. Do not contaminate ponds, streams, aquaria or fish bowls with the product. Dispose of any waste water onto soil not used for growing vegetables.
What should I do with the bottle before and after use?
Dispose of any unused product and empty containers in accordance with guidance from your local waste regulation authority.
What else can I do to prevent fleas? Fleas spend three-quarters of their life-cycle off your pet, in bedding, carpets, and soft furnishings. Treats these areas with a suitable household insecticide, and vacuum regularly.
