The Betta 30cm Fish Bowl Kit is a 12 litre acrylic bowl supplied with Blue Lagoon gravel, a plastic plant and a catching net. Acrylic is lighter and far more durable than a traditional glass bowl, which is why we can post it.
A 12 litre bowl is not a long term home for a goldfish. A goldfish can grow to 12 to 14 inches and live for 20 years, and it needs a large filtered aquarium with room to grow. This bowl suits a quarantine or hospital tank, a tank for raising fry, or a home for shrimp or snails. If you are setting up for a goldfish, call into Gary's Pet World in Letterkenny, where we stock a full range of larger aquariums and will help you choose the right size.
