Fluval FX6 External Canister Filter: powerful filtration for aquariums up to 1500L

The Fluval FX6 is a high performance external canister filter for large freshwater and saltwater aquariums up to 1500L. Known as the workhorse of canisters, it sweeps the tank harder and faster to retain more debris, and its Smart Pump technology keeps it running at its best with less maintenance for you.

Why Choose the Fluval FX6?

High flow: pump output of 3500 L/h, with 2130 L/h of filter circulation, for powerful filtration in large aquariums.
Smart Pump technology: microchip technology continuously monitors and optimises pump performance and energy efficiency.
Self starting: just add water and plug in. Trapped air is automatically evacuated every 12 hours to keep it working at maximum efficiency.
Large media capacity: removable, stackable media baskets hold 5.9L of media and eliminate water bypass.
Multi stage filtration: all mechanical, chemical and biological media included.
Leak proof connections: Aqua-Stop valves with Click-Fit attachment, set at a 45 degree angle for easy installation.
Easy maintenance and water changes: utility valve with drain hose for flushing the canister, and Smart Pump makes water changes easy with the optional water change kit (sold separately).
Quiet and compact: rubberised feet for quiet running, and at 53cm tall it fits under most aquariums. Made in Italy.
