The PetSafe Classic In-Ground Fence (model PIG19-17478) gives your dog safe freedom inside your garden. You bury the boundary wire to fence in exactly the area you want, which suits rectangular and unusually shaped gardens alike. Setting it up is a DIY project you can complete over a weekend.
The rechargeable, waterproof receiver collar has 8 settings. Level 1 is tone and vibration, ideal for training and for pets that are hard of hearing. Levels 2 to 8 are adjustable static stimulation, so you can match the setting to your dog's temperament.
To add a pet, use an extra Classic In-Ground Fence receiver collar. PetSafe states that the Stubborn Dog Add-A-Dog collar (PIG19-10763) and the Little Dog Add-A-Dog collar (PIG19-11042) work with PetSafe In-Ground Fence systems excluding the Classic In-Ground Fence, so they will not work with this system.
