API Ammo Lock 118ml is a fast‑acting liquid aquarium treatment designed to protect your fish from the harmful effects of ammonia — one of the most toxic compounds that can build up in aquariums from fish waste, uneaten food and decomposing material. When your aquarium tests positive for ammonia, this treatment works instantly to convert toxic ammonia into a non‑toxic form that’s safer for fish while your biological filter gradually removes it.

How It Works:
When added to aquarium water, API Ammo Lock rapidly “locks up” ammonia into a safe form that won’t harm fish. The biological filter in your tank then naturally processes and removes the ammonia over time. Because the ammonia is still detectable by test kits even after treatment, regular water changes and proper filtration remain essential.
Usage Tip:
Test your water first — if ammonia is present, perform a partial water change, then dose API Ammo Lock (typically around 5 ml per ~38 L) every couple of days until ammonia levels are no longer detected as a concern.
